We’ve been partners with Stephanus-Stiftung since 2017, providing hundreds of books and bi-annual children’s events for the diverse community there.

Stephanus-Stiftung is a non-profit organisation founded in 1878. Throughout the years, it has aimed to provide support for people in need regardless of their age, background or religion. The foundation offers support to people of old age, people with disabilities and families in vulnerable situations. Over 10,000 people in Berlin and Brandenburg benefit from their services.

Lilipad partnered with the Friedrichshagen subsidiary of Stephanus Stiftung, which operates as a contact point for refugee families from the area and volunteers willing to support them. The centre offers services like German lessons, homework tutoring and volunteer training. Since September 2017, the centre is also home to a Lilipad library.
