Our Impact
Lilipad harnesses the power of reading and education to improve the well-being and life prospects of children affected by social exclusion. We create library spaces which are highly accessible, inclusive, and lively.
Our commitment: SDG4
Our action contributes to the achievement of the UN’s fourth Sustainable Development Goal: To Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.

1,700+ reading hours
400+ workshops
4 countries
2,300+ children
8 languages
1,100+ tutoring hours
How we think about impact
Lilipad is committed to critically assess, measure and report on its impact. We do this through a mix of qualitative and quantitative measures. This keeps us accountable to the communities we support, our partners and donors, and helps us improve. We believe all children should have access to quality education and opportunities, especially those affected by social exclusion.
Our work is guided by our theory of change and the following three objectives.
Objective 1
Creating library spaces that are highly accessible, multilingual and inclusive.
Objective 2
Providing access to workshops, reading opportunities, and educational support.
Objective 3
Fostering resilience for children affected by social exclusion.
