Open Position: Projects & Fundraising Manager (freelance basis)
We are looking for a freelance Projects & Fundraising Manager to join us from early December for a period of 6 months. This position has the potential to become a long-term commitment.

Job Title: Projects & Fundraising Manager (Maternity Cover)
Location: Berlin ideally (hybrid)
Type: Part-time (20 hours per week)
Duration: December 1st, 2023 until May 31st, 2024 with possibility of turning into a long-term position
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising Leadership: Serve as the primary stakeholder responsible for planning, developing, and implementing fundraising strategies and campaigns.
Grant Writing: Research, write, and submit grant proposals to secure funding from foundations, government agencies, and other sources. Manage grant reporting requirements.
Project Conceptualization: Collaborate closely with the Projects team to conceptualize strong and impact project proposals that are in line with Lilipad’s strategy, impact goals and organizational needs.
Fundraising Pipeline Management: Continuously identify and evaluate new fundraising opportunities, including grants, partnerships, and sponsorship possibilities.
Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential donors, partners, and supporters. Effectively communicate Lilipad's mission and impact.
Budget Management: Work with the Board to create and manage fundraising budgets, ensuring that financial goals are met and resources are allocated effectively.
Requirements:
Passion for and alignment with Lilipad's mission and values.
Understanding of project conceptualisation and educational challenges Lilipad is attempting to address.
Proven experience in fundraising, with a strong track record of successfully securing grants and partnerships.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
Fluency in English and German.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a flexible and remote environment.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Previous experience working with volunteer-based teams is a plus.
